| The original for this print is a colored pencil and gouache drawing which I did from a balcony on Roosevelt Island looking over across the East River and the 59th street bridge to midtown Manhattan and the East Side Highway on the other side. Snow can make even New York city look still and quiet. I submitted it to the New Yorker to be a cover, but it was not accepted. So of course I advertise it in the New Yorker and also the New York Observer. | ||||||||||
